How a genetic wellness company turned DNA results into personalized supplement protocols customers could actually use

Genetic wellness · Founder-led company · United States · sells DNA test kits and personalized supplement guidance

01

The problem

“We did not just want to show customers their genetic data. We needed to turn that data into a clear, personalized protocol they could understand and follow.”

Project Rebuilt was selling a DNA test kit, but the real value came after the test: helping customers understand their results and which supplement protocol to follow.

Raw genetic results, recommendation logic, and supplement guidance had to be translated into a structured customer-facing experience, not handled manually or explained one-off.

02

What it was costing

Before the Protocol Builder, customers emailed their gene data and the founder manually reviewed output across 35 genes before giving recommendations. That meant more manual explanation, more support questions, slower delivery, and a less scalable post-purchase experience.

03

What we built

The Rebuilt Protocol Builder: a customer-facing system that turns each customer's gene results into a personalized supplement protocol.

Instead of reviewing 35 gene outputs over email one by one, the builder organizes the genetic data, applies the protocol logic, and presents recommendations in a clear customer-facing format. The work included protocol logic, customer-facing output, backend/API updates, testing, and deployment.
